We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

Heavenly Father,
How profound and humbling is Your truth — that we are justified only by faith. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Lord, I pray that this truth is deeply rooted in my heart and never forgotten.
Teach me to understand that the works I do are not a means to earn Your favor but an expression of the love and faith I have in You. My deeds are a reflection of the faith You have already placed within me — not a currency to buy Your mercy. For before I was ever born, before I could ever act or speak, You died for me on the cross. You bore my sins — all of them — long before I even came into existence. What work of mine could ever earn such grace? None, Lord. It is only Your unmerited favor.
Let me live each day remembering that faith justifies and faith saves. Guard my heart, that I may never nullify the grace of God by relying on my own righteousness. Let me not rebuild what Christ has already torn down or destroy what You have beautifully established — the way to the Father through Him.
Lord Jesus, may my life always declare this truth: “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” Let every act, thought, and breath of mine flow from faith in You, my Redeemer and my righteousness.
