Scripture (ESV)

Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.
After these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.

Prayer Root: Word to Prayer

Heavenly Father,

You are the living God, risen in power and reigning in glory. You appeared first to Mary Magdalene—one who had been restored by Your grace—and entrusted her with the greatest message the world would ever hear. Through her, You showed that redemption leads to responsibility, and transformation leads to testimony.

Lord, my faith in You stands firm. I believe that You are alive, present, and active even now. I thank You, Lord, that You reveal Yourself not only to the multitudes, but to the devoted—those who listen, obey, and act in faith.

You have commissioned Your followers to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all creation. I receive this calling with reverence and joy. Use my life as a vessel of Your truth. Send me wherever You will—into conversations, communities, and moments where hearts are searching for hope. Let my words carry life, and let my actions reflect Your love.

Go before me, Lord, and work through me. Not by my strength, but by Your power. Let Your presence confirm the message I carry. May my life testify that You are risen, reigning, and actively transforming lives today.

You have ascended to the right hand of the Father, yet You continue Your work through those who believe. Take my heart, my obedience, and my willingness, and use them for Your eternal purpose—until Your gospel reaches every corner of the earth and every soul has heard the good news of Jesus Christ. Let everything that has breath, Praise the Lord , Praise the Lord!.

Rooted in prayer, rejoicing in Christ.
