Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to betray him.

Heavenly Father,
From an outside perspective, it is easy to feel anger, disappointment, and frustration toward Judas Iscariot. But Lord, You alone know the depths of every heart and the true intentions of every person. You alone are the righteous Judge.
I pray, Lord, that You give me a discipline that never betrays You—Through idolatry or a life that fails to reflect Your sacrifice and Your standards, through silence born of fear of rejection or disapproval, or through a lack of love for others, when love was Your greatest commandment to us.
Guard my heart so that my behavior never resembles betrayal. Keep me vigilant in faith, obedient in action, and sincere in devotion. May I never trade intimacy with You for comfort, approval, or gain.
Guide me to live faithfully, led by the Spirit You have placed within me. Keep me steadfast, loyal, and anchored in truth, walking in a way that honors You in all things.
Rooted in prayer, rejoicing in Christ.
