For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.” But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Heavenly Father,
How blessed we are, Lord, that You have redeemed us from the curse of the law. The law demanded perfection — to obey every single command, every single word — and failure in even one meant a curse. None of us could ever live up to that, Lord. We are all weak, all fallen, all in need of Your mercy. But You, Jesus, took that curse upon Yourself. You bore the cross, not as a punishment You deserved, but as the redemption we needed.
Thank You, Lord, for showing us that no man is justified by the law in Your sight. It is only through faith that we are made righteous. The law reveals our sin, but faith in You redeems us from it. The law binds, but faith frees.
Heavenly Father, let me not lean on my own righteousness or works, thinking that they will save me. Let my heart rest in Your grace alone. Help me remember that You became a curse for me, that through Your sacrifice the blessing of Abraham might come to all of us — both Jew and Gentile alike — so that we may receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
God, I pray to you that You fill me with that Spirit — the Spirit that gives life, the Spirit that transforms, the Spirit that reminds me daily that I live not under the curse, but under grace. Let my soul rejoice in the truth that You turned the curse into blessing, the cross into victory, and death into eternal life.
