“But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations. And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

Heavenly Father,
Jesus spoke these words first to His disciples, yet they remain true even today. The places may have changed, but the call to bear witness has not.
Lord, I pray that You give me the courage to proclaim Your gospel. I may not stand before councils, synagogues, governors, or kings, but I do stand before cynics and critics, nonbelievers and the indifferent, the innocent and even the hostile. May I never hesitate or fear to speak Your truth—with love, humility, and respect, not anger or pride but with love, compassion, kindness, and deep respect.
Make me a willing mouthpiece of the Spirit within me. Give me the right words at the right time, in the right place. When I feel unprepared or intimidated, remind me that it is not I who speaks, but Your Spirit who testifies through me.
Even if my faithfulness leads to misunderstanding, rejection, or division among family or friends, help me to remember that my allegiance to You comes first. Strengthen my heart to remain steadfast, anchored in the hope of salvation—not by my strength, but by Your mercy and grace.
Grant me unwavering faith to endure, courage to stand, and hope to trust that You are with me until the very end.
