Scripture (ESV)
And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
Prayer Root: Word to Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging that sharing the gospel and Your Word is my responsibility, but transforming hearts is Your divine work. Just as I cannot earn Your mercy or grace through my own efforts, I cannot bring transformation to anyone unless You are working within their hearts.
Lord, grant me opportunities, confidence, and the ability to articulate Your gospel clearly—like the sower scattering seeds on the ground. Help me to trust that, even when I cannot see the growth, Your Spirit is at work. May I have faith, patience, and steadfast trust that You are maturing hearts gradually and perfectly, according to Your divine plan.
Father, let me be Your hands and feet, faithfully sowing seeds and trusting You to bring the growth of Your kingdom on earth. May I rejoice in the progress You are making, knowing that the harvest will come in Your perfect timing, and all glory belongs to You.
Rooted in prayer, rejoicing in Christ.
