Scripture (ESV)

And he said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand? For there is nothing hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”

Prayer Root: Word to Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Lord Jesus, You are the light of my life and the lamp for my path. I thank You that Your truth shines brightly in me, and I pray that it is never hidden under a basket or beneath a bed, but set high for all to see, illuminating Your glory.

Lord, grant me the courage, confidence, and conviction to faithfully spread the good news of the gospel. Help me to walk boldly in Your light, sharing Your Word with clarity, love, and persistence.

I pray that You open my spiritual ears to discern the cues of Your Spirit, revealing Your will in every situation. Let my submission to You be complete, Lord, so that I may be filled with overflowing wisdom and spiritual understanding. May my surrender be sincere, that I actively grow in Your truth and receive ever more of Your guidance.

Let my life reflect Your light fully, so that through me, others may see Your presence, hear Your voice, and be drawn closer to You.

Rooted in prayer, rejoicing in Christ.
