Scripture (ESV)
Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon. When the great crowd heard all that he was doing, they came to him. And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed around him to touch him. And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.
Prayer Root: Word to Prayer
Heavenly Father,
You drew great crowds wherever You went — people came from every direction, seeking healing and hope.
Yet, Lord, I pray that those who encounter You through my life do so not for what they can gain, but because they believe in who You truly are — our Savior, the Son of the Living God.
Grant me, Lord, the grace to lead others toward faith in You, not through words alone but through the reflection of Your love in my life. Give me the boldness to proclaim with conviction that You are the Son of God, the One who has fulfilled all things through Your death and resurrection. May my voice, my actions, and my heart always testify to Your glory.
Rooted in prayer, rejoicing in Christ.
