As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots. And Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Heavenly Father,
You have shown me, through Jesus, the power of faith, prayer, and forgiveness. I see it in how He prayed before every step of His mission, how He healed through faith, and how He forgave—even those who persecuted Him. I thank You for extending that same mercy and forgiveness to a sinner like me.
Lord, build in me an unwavering faith that is anchored in You. Teach my heart not to doubt, not to shrink back when things seem impossible. I know that what feels impossible to me is often the very place where You begin Your work. Teach me to trust You completely, without hesitation.
Draw me constantly into prayer, Father. Give me sincerity and dependence so that in every season—whether I am praising or pleading, rejoicing or repenting, confessing or crying—I come to You first. Let prayer be my refuge, my strength, and my lifeline.
Lord Jesus, give me a forgiving heart. Help me forgive again and again, just as You have taught—loving my enemies, releasing offense, and surrendering every wound to You. As I forgive others, I lay my own sins before You and receive Your grace with humility and gratitude.
May my life reflect faith that trusts, prayer that relies, and forgiveness that heals.
