For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.” And again it is said, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him.” And again Isaiah says, “The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Heavenly Father,
Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end. Though His incarnation in Mary’s womb made Him visible to the world, Your Word reveals that He was present long before, woven through every promise, every covenant, and every prophecy. From Genesis through the prophets, You were already revealing the Light who would come. From the beginning, Your purposes pointed toward the hope that would be fully revealed in Jesus Christ.
Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness—faithful to Israel, faithful to Your promises, and merciful to the Gentiles. Thank You that through Christ, I too am welcomed into Your redemptive plan. Fill my heart with gratitude that Your salvation is not limited by heritage, culture, or past, but extended by grace to all who believe.
Father, may the God of hope fill me with joy and peace as I trust in You. Let my life overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that my praise reflects Your truth, my faith testifies to Your mercy, and my hope rests firmly in Jesus Christ—the Light of the world.
