Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats.
It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.
The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves.
But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.

Heavenly Father,
You remind me that every believer is a work of God still under construction, a sacred building shaped by Your hand. Teach me to value people above my own preferences, comforts, and freedoms, so that I never tear down what You are patiently building.
Lord, grow in me a deep and true spiritual maturity—one that is marked not by asserting my rights, but by willingly laying them down. In the spirit of Your kingdom, may self-restraint become an act of worship, and may sacrificing personal liberties for the sake of others be transformed into Christ-honoring freedom.
Father, give me the discipline to remember that faith is not a performance before others, nor a weapon to win debates or prove theological correctness. Faith is a trusting and intimate relationship with You. It is a quiet, honest relationship nurtured in secret places, just as Jesus taught—to pray behind closed doors, seen by You alone, and rewarded by Your grace.
Lord, grant me wisdom to understand that sin is not merely the breaking of a rule, but disobedience against You and a violation of the trust You call us to maintain. Keep me faithful in conscience, sincere in devotion, and loyal in love toward You and my fellow believers. May all that I do flow from faith, for Your glory alone.
